From £2,500 + VAT — Website Redesign Services

Our website redesign services start at £2,500 + VAT for a 4-6 page site, rebuilt with SEO set up on every page and every old URL redirected so the rankings you have carry over. Prices are fixed and published before you commit - you know what you're paying before work starts. You own the content, domain and front-end code. Not sure a full rebuild is what you need right now? Take the website redesign quiz and find out in a few minutes.

What Our Website Redesign Services Include

A redesign with us is always a rebuild onto our platform - not a reskin of your existing WordPress or Wix install. We handle the design and development, content migration and on-page search engine optimisation as a single project. The result is a clean codebase, one team responsible for the whole thing, and a digital experience built around your business.

A new design built around the pages that bring in work

We start with your brand identity - your logo, colours and fonts - and design around the pages that matter most for bringing in work. That means thinking about user experience from the first screen: clear calls to action, user journeys that guide a visitor from landing to contact, the aesthetics that fit your sector, and customer engagement at each step. Custom website design to your brief, not template placeholders with your logo dropped in. Conversion rates depend on whether a visitor trusts what they see and can find what they need quickly.

Rebuilt on our platform

The redesigned site runs on our platform. Mobile responsiveness is built in from the start, and the responsive design holds across every screen size. Page speed matters for user engagement and for search engine rankings alike, so it is part of the build rather than a job for after launch. The aim is a high-performing website from the day it goes live.

Your content moved across

We work through what you have - text, images, service pages - and plan what to keep, what to merge and what to cut. Good content moves over; thin pages that were never going to bring in enquiries get consolidated. Content decisions are part of the brief, made before the build starts.

SEO set up on every page

Every page gets its own title, meta description and heading structure, matched to the searches for that job. On-page SEO is part of the website development work, included in the price. User flows are thought through at build time - the right page is set up to answer the right search from the moment the site goes live.

How a Redesign Keeps Your Rankings

Moving a site to new URLs carries real risk if you don't handle the redirects correctly. We map the redirect list before launch, not after, and treat it as a core part of the website redesign process. We align SEO strategies with the URL structure before any code is written, because organic visibility depends on that groundwork and it is far easier to get right before launch than to repair afterwards.

A redirect for every old URL

Before any launch, we document every live URL on the old site. Each one gets a permanent redirect to the right new page. If there is no direct equivalent, the redirect points to the closest relevant page rather than the home page. That helps carry link equity and website traffic across, rather than sending visitors and Google to a dead end.

One hop, never a chain

Google says permanent redirects don't cause a loss in PageRank, and advises redirecting to the final destination directly rather than through a chain. On our own site, an automated test fails if any redirect points at another redirect, so redirect chains can't build up. Every old URL reaches its new page in one hop. That is a technical SEO safeguard we run on our own site as well as recommending it.

Checking Google has picked up the new pages

After launch, we submit the updated sitemap, use URL Inspection in Search Console to confirm the new URLs are crawled and indexed, and check for indexing errors. Google's own guidance on site moves is that for a medium-sized site "it can take a few weeks or more" for new URLs to replace old ones in the results - that is normal, and we keep an eye on it. We recommend keeping redirects in place for at least a year after launch.

Do You Need a Redesign or a Refresh?

Not every struggling site needs a full rebuild. Some need new pages and better on-page work. Others have a structure that doesn't hold up on mobile, a platform nobody patches any more, or content that was never aimed at the right searches. The answer matters before you commit money.

Signs a redesign is worth it

The main signals: the site is hard to use on a phone and mobile responsiveness is poor; you can't update it without a developer; pages that should bring in work aren't ranking and aren't generating enquiries; the platform is something nobody actively maintains. If several of those are true, a rebuild usually makes more sense than a conversion rate optimisation pass on a site with structural problems. A UX audit on a site like that tends to point the same way: build it again, to the right brief and around your business goals.

When a refresh is enough

If the site loads well, ranks for the right terms and just needs better content or a design tidy-up, a rebuild is probably not the right investment. Our SEO Foundation Audit and Plan is £750 + VAT, one-off, works on any website regardless of platform, and gives you a clear picture of what is and isn't working. Take the website redesign quiz to get a quick steer on which direction makes sense for you.

Website Redesign Prices

Our prices are fixed and published. You know what you're paying before any work starts, and the brochure build is paid in two stages rather than all up front. See our pricing for the full breakdown, or our article on how much a website costs in the UK.

Brochure redesign: £2,500 + VAT

A 4-6 page brochure redesign costs £2,500 + VAT. Payment is staged: £1,250 on signing and £1,250 at go-live. Every page gets its own title, meta description and heading structure as part of the build - on-page SEO is included in the price, not sold separately. This is web design with a fixed scope and a published price. After launch, the platform plan starts at £95/mo + VAT, covering hosting, tooling and security patches with no ongoing work included. SEO Suite adds £45/mo optional; SEO Standard - which includes active SEO and content work - is £650/mo + VAT.

Business website redesign: from £4,500 + VAT

If your site needs to cover multiple services, a team, or several locations, the business website (10+ pages) starts at £4,500 + VAT. We quote larger sites once we know the pages and features they need.

Spread the cost: £850 a month

At £850/mo on a firm 12-month term, the build is included in the plan. You get the same 4-6 page SEO-optimised site built to the same standard, with SEO Standard running from month one and no large upfront payment. Monthly plans run on a 12-month minimum term, then roll monthly on 30 days' notice.

Our Website Redesign Process

A redesign typically takes 4-6 weeks, depending on how quickly you can give feedback at each stage. We move as fast as your review cycle allows - that dependency is real, and we say so upfront rather than quoting a fixed guarantee.

Discovery and planning

We start with a free consultation about what your current site has and what the new one needs to do. From there we plan the pages, agree the redirect map, and confirm the brief before anything is built. The page structure and URL plan are signed off before design work starts - decisions made now don't need revisiting mid-build.

Design and build on a staging site

Design and build happen on a private staging site. You review each page as it comes together, with feedback rounds built into the project. The front end is built with your brand assets on our platform - not a template install. UX design, user flows and content all come together at this stage, so the finished site works as a system rather than a set of independent pages.

Launch, redirects live, checks in Search Console

On launch day, redirects go live at the same time as the site. We submit the new sitemap and run URL Inspection on the key pages.

What Happens After Launch

The platform plan after a build-paid site starts at £95/mo + VAT. That covers the site, tooling and hosting. Security patches and updates are handled by us. You can edit copy, swap images and add pages yourself through the CMS - website maintenance of that kind is self-serve on the £95 plan, no developer needed. Because the site stays on our platform, mobile optimisation and performance optimisation are part of how it is looked after, not a separate project.

Backups are included on every platform plan. Restoring from a backup is included at no extra cost, and if a site is ever hacked or compromised, putting it right is included too - covered on the platform, not charged as a separate incident.

If you want active SEO work running alongside the site, SEO Standard is £650/mo + VAT and SEO Growth is £1,000/mo + VAT.

You Own What We Build

Every site we build is yours. The content, data, domain, brand assets and front-end repo all belong to you - not to us, and not to the platform. Those exit terms are worth stating plainly: if you decide to leave, you get a free full static export of the site plus all media, and 30 days' read-only access while you move to a new host.

Monthly plans run on a 12-month minimum term, then roll monthly with 30 days' notice. The monthly plan pays for the platform, hosting and any work in your plan - not for continued access to a site you have already paid for.

Redesigns We've Delivered

Our website redesign work and SEO run together from the start. These results came from projects where the rebuild and the SEO campaign ran as a single engagement.

AD Locksmithing - 53 to 150 jobs completed

AD Locksmithing is a locksmith based in Newcastle. A new website and SEO campaign in 2023-2024 moved completed jobs from 53 to 150. GBP calls increased by 294% and GBP map impressions by 592%. The new site gave the SEO somewhere to land; the SEO drove traffic to the site. That is what a website redesign should be built around: lead generation from search, as well as a site that looks right.

Budget Drains Nottingham - new site, stronger local results

Budget Drains Nottingham had a new SEO-optimised website built and an SEO campaign run alongside it. GBP calls were up 61% and GBP map impressions up 161%. Business growth in local service work follows the same pattern across trades: someone searches locally, lands on a site, and decides whether to ring. The site is where that decision is made.

Redesigns for Small Businesses and Trades

The brochure tier - 4-6 pages, £2,500 + VAT - is designed for small service businesses and trades. If your customers find you through search, call to enquire, and judge your credibility from your site, these are website redesign solutions built around that model.

If you need a digital agency to handle the build, the SEO and the ongoing platform, that is what we do. We provide professional website design for trade and service businesses across a range of sectors. For a sector-specific example, see our page on websites for electricians - the structure there shows how a service site is built around the jobs you want more of. The same approach applies across B2B and B2C service businesses: one page per job type, one page per service area, clear calls to action.

Not if the redirects are handled correctly. Every old URL gets a permanent redirect to the right new page, mapped before launch. Google's guidance is that permanent redirects don't cause a loss in PageRank. Expect some movement while Google processes the new URLs - for a medium-sized site, that can take a few weeks or more - but a well-executed redirect map means your search engine rankings carry over.
Yes - by rebuilding it onto our platform. A redesign with us is always a rebuild, never a reskin of your existing install. Content migrates across; the old platform does not. We don't do theme swaps or plugin-layer rebuilds on WordPress websites - we build from scratch on our own stack.

The site lives on our platform - that is part of how the build works. Platform plans start at £95/mo + VAT after a build-paid project. Managed SEO sits on top of that as a separate plan.
