Tea Powered Projects is a Nottingham digital agency that designs, builds, and manages websites on its own platform. We are not a template mill, a WordPress reseller, or a faceless agency. We are a small, dedicated team that genuinely cares about the websites we build and the businesses they serve.
The Story
Tea Powered Projects started with a simple belief: if you are going to do something, do it properly. Our founder, Callum Robley, got hooked on building for the web at 14 - setting up phpBB forums for gaming clans, tinkering with Macromedia Flash, and building his first professional website for an apparel company. Back then, the best way to rank in Google was hiding "Britney Spears" in white text on a white background. SEO has come a long way since then. So have we.
That "do it properly" mentality is what drove us to build our own CMS platform from scratch. We were tired of fighting WordPress plugins, patching security holes, and explaining to clients why their site broke after an update. We wanted complete control over every layer of the technology so we could build websites that are genuinely fast, secure, and beautiful - without compromise.
Today, we work with businesses of all sizes across the UK. Our platform clients range from local tradespeople, restaurants, and play centres through to growing SMEs who need a bespoke website with ongoing SEO and support. Beyond the platform, we provide development and marketing services for larger organisations - from Shopify development and SEO for B3 Cricket, the Hucknall-based bat maker whose bats are used by England internationals, to bespoke systems, integrations, and marketing support for Langley Holdings, a billion-euro engineering group, and custom process management software for TUV Nord, the global inspection and certification company. Whatever the size of the business, the standard is the same.
We Don't Do Half-Hearted
If you want a £600 template website just to tick a box, we are not the right company. We build websites that our clients are excited to share - on business cards, in email signatures, and in conversations with customers. Every site we deliver is something we are proud of too. That is the standard, and we do not drop it.
What We Believe
Your website should work as hard as you do. Not sit there gathering dust while your business grows around it. We believe every business deserves a website they are proud of - one that generates leads, builds trust, and represents their brand properly.
Technology should be invisible. You should not need to understand plugins, hosting, SSL certificates, or CMS updates. That is our job. Your job is running your business.
Honesty over promises. We will tell you what will work, what will not, and what your money is best spent on. No inflated proposals, no unnecessary features, no selling you services you do not need.
