The Challenge

Autelix is a Nottingham auto locksmith that also covers general locksmith work. It started from nothing online: a new website on a new domain, with no search history.

Jobs were coming in at 2 to 4 a month. In December 2025 the site appeared in Google searches about 1,500 times and got 2 clicks. It needed to be found for car key and lock work across Nottingham, so in late January 2026 we started pushing the site properly.

What We Delivered

New Website

A mobile-first website on our own platform, built around the services and areas Autelix covers.

Service and Area Pages

Dedicated pages for auto locksmith and locksmith services, plus 27 pages for the towns and suburbs around Nottingham.

Real Job Write-Ups

12 case studies written from real jobs, covering makes such as Ford, Nissan, Renault and Range Rover, so customers can see the work before they call.

A Clear Prices Page

A page that sets out price ranges in plain English, because cost is one of the first things people search for.

Google Business Profile

Service areas, regular posts and ongoing upkeep of the profile.

The Results

Nine months from a standing start, measured in jobs.

Beyond the Numbers

Jobs are the number that matters to a trades business, so that's what we measure. Autelix went from 2 to 4 jobs a month in late 2025 to 10 or more a month from August 2026, and October was its best month for both jobs and value.

The website is the only place Autelix advertises, so the site and its Google profile are how new customers find it.

Calls moved the same way: 70 came in during October, and 48 were answered. Search visibility grew alongside them, with clicks rising from 2 in December 2025 to 41 in October 2026.

It's still early. A new domain takes time to build, and there's plenty more to come.
